Space Cafe — Oslo Podcast Studio

You'll find Oslo Podcast Studio in the Space Cafe café and coworking at Anděl; Space Cafe has a sister studio in Karlín. The glass façade faces straight onto a busy street, so your recording can be seen from outside too. For some that's stage fright, for others a nice shop window. Up to four people fit in, enough for an interview or a small discussion.

The equipment covers both audio and video: professional microphones for hosts and guests, mixing desks and audio interfaces, a set of cameras with tripods, lights and a large preview monitor. The space is acoustically optimised and technical support is on site. The operator doesn't name specific models. For an extra fee they'll also handle post-production and editing.

An hour costs 1,210 CZK including VAT (1,000 CZK excl. VAT). You book and pay online, with no membership and no commitment. Top up your wallet and you get a bonus credit of 10 to 20%. You can cancel a booking for free if you do it more than 48 hours in advance.

Your access code arrives by text and e-mail and opens every door on the way to the studio. You can welcome guests in the café, and whatever you order from the bar you pay for at the end. The studio is open on weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm, at Stroupežnického 3191/17, Prague 5.
