About the studio

Ateliér Apolinář is a photo, video and podcast studio on Apolinářská Street in Prague's New Town. It suits you whether you just want to record a conversation in peace or need a finished video podcast, editing included. The studio also makes content for big brands: it worked on the production of Česká spořitelna's podcast "Ve svém".

The simplest option is called Roll Sound. You get the room, four RODE PodMic microphones and headphones, but no crew, so you record your own way. Higher tiers add three Sony cameras in 4K, Nanlite lights, an on-set technician and live editing. Sound is recorded through a Rodecaster. There is also a Blackmagic editing suite and a mobile 4K TV screen.

Roll Sound costs 3,400 CZK for the first two hours, then 1,000 CZK for each additional hour. The Quick package with one camera is 4,000 CZK for two hours, and Smart Setup with three cameras and a technician is 5,500 CZK. Higher packages with editing range from 9,000 to 35,000 CZK for two hours, and each extra hour is 1,000 CZK. The website doesn't say whether prices include VAT, so it's worth asking. You can add a make-up artist, photos from the shoot, an online stream or reels editing.

You book through the online configurator on the website, where you pick your tier and add-ons in one go. The studio is at Apolinářská 436/3a. You can reach it by e-mail or phone beforehand if you have questions.
