Scott.Weber Workspace — Podcastové studio Ganbaru

Ganbaru is the podcast room of the Scott.Weber coworking in the BLOX building in Downtown Dejvice. It suits interviews, company podcasts and your own formats, even ones you are only just starting, and it fits up to four people. The eight-storey building with its minimalist architecture also looks out on Prague Castle, which guests tend to notice before they even sit down at the mic.

The setup is built around a Rode Caster Pro, dynamic Rode PodMic microphones and Omnitronic SHP-900 headphones. A Full HD PTZ camera with 10x optical zoom handles the picture, and an All-in-One computer is there too. You take the recording home on a microSD card, and if you want, you can stream live from the studio to social media. The room is acoustically treated, so echo shouldn't be a worry.

An hour costs 1,000 CZK, the same as at the sister studios Praga Alfa in Karlín and Hamburg in Holešovice. The website doesn't say whether the price includes VAT, so check when you book. You arrange a slot through the contact form, and you can come and see the studio before the shoot. It's worth doing, especially if it's your first recording.

You'll find the studio at Evropská 2758/11. Dejvická metro station on line A is a few steps away, and by tram you get off at Vítězné náměstí. If you come by car, you can park right in the building.
