Two Swans Studio

Two Swans is a daylight atelier that has its own setup ready for podcasts and video podcasts. It sits on the ninth floor on Vinohradská with west-facing windows, so the sun shines in during the afternoon and golden hour arrives in the evening. If you want your conversation to feel more like a living room with a view than a black booth, it's worth a look.

On site you'll find two microphones on stands, a mixing desk, tripods and a NEEWER NL660 Bi-Color continuous LED light with a softbox. You bring your own camera, laptop and any extra microphones for more than two people, though, so plan on your own recording setup. You can choose from three sets: a glass table with colourful curtains, a rounded sofa and a calmer sofa by the window. There's a dressing room, a make-up spot and a kitchenette with light refreshments. Rights for commercial use of the footage are included in the price.

One hour costs 800 CZK, three hours 1,990 CZK and a full eight-hour day 4,900 CZK. If cabling isn't your thing, you can add a technician who helps with the setup for 500 CZK/h. Prices are final for non-VAT payers; VAT payers are invoiced by Contentano s.r.o. with 21% VAT added.

You book and pay online, and entry instructions arrive by e-mail once you've paid. The nearest stops are the Náměstí Míru metro station and the Italská tram stop. And if you want sunlight in the shot, schedule your recording for the afternoon.
