Podcastovna (Skautský institut)

Podcastovna is a small self-service booth of 8.5 m², run by the Skautský institut at an address right on Old Town Square. It suits undemanding audio recording for two — an interview, a podcast episode or a format test in a prime location without a big production.

The equipment is modest but functional: two RODE PodMic microphones and a Roland Rubix 44 audio interface. You bring your own laptop, and before your first recording you go through roughly half an hour of training so everything runs smoothly. Prices start at 600 CZK/h depending on the type of project, billed for a minimum of one hour and then in half-hour blocks.

Important note: the studio is closed until 6 July 2026 due to renovation, so plan your booking for after that date. Otherwise, for creators looking for a cheap and centrally located audio-only space, it's an ideal choice.
