About the studio
Loud & Clear is the first genuinely unattended studio in this catalogue. You register, pick a slot, pay by card and receive a door code that activates fifteen minutes before your start. Nobody greets you, nobody supervises you, and recording starts with a single button. It is open seven days a week from six in the morning until midnight — and the price is the same in every slot, so the early bird and the night owl pay alike.
A slot lasts 75 minutes: an hour to record and a quarter of an hour to settle in. It costs 1,990 CZK and includes everything that matters — three 4K cameras from the left, right and centre, smart lighting and a Schoeps boundary microphone built into the table top, so no boom arm intrudes on the shot. You copy the footage onto a drive or card afterwards; an hour of recording runs to around two hundred gigabytes.
Behind the studio stand the dubbing actor Oldřich Hajlich and a co-founder of the unattended rehearsal room Zkušebna Karlák — a combination that explains both the idea and the emphasis on sound. Parking is in the blue zones and the I. P. Pavlova metro is a few minutes' walk away.

Sound is captured by a single omnidirectional Schoeps boundary microphone built into the table, with no microphones in front of faces. Three static cameras record in up to 4K.
