Hirundo Studio

Hirundo is run by a couple who make podcasts themselves, and it shows in the approach. The studio occupies the first floor of the mo-cha Vista office building on Na Pankráci; mo-cha is the landlord and lists the room in its meeting-room price list, but the gear and the know-how belong to Hirundo. So when you decide who to talk to, talk to Hirundo.

The room is twenty-five square metres and its low-noise boundary microphones comfortably cover four speakers. A detail that matters for live formats: around the table the room still holds roughly ten spectators, so you can record in front of an audience.

Prices are friendly and honestly labelled as indicative. An hour of audio podcast can come to 900 CZK; a finished one-hour video episode including basic post-production, 6,000 CZK. Booking runs through the building's system, which is open to people who do not have an office there — you just need to create an account before your first reservation.
