Cowork Šumperk

Cowork Šumperk is a new municipal coworking space on the ground floor of the south wing of Pavlínin dvůr in the centre of Šumperk. It officially opened on 9 September 2026, and according to its website the town of Šumperk is behind it together with the chamber of commerce. Besides desks you'll find a conference room, a phone room, an event space for 30 people, a kitchenette with a bar – and a small podcast studio.

The studio is simple and practical: microphones on boom arms, a mixing desk, headphones and blue acoustic panels on the walls. The operator offers it for podcasts, interviews, voice recordings and online broadcasts. The website doesn't list exact models or the number of microphones, so if you plan to record with a bigger line-up or need a camera, ask beforehand.

An hour costs 500 CZK for the public and 300 CZK for coworking members. There's no online calendar for the studio yet; you arrange a slot by e-mail or phone depending on availability. The website doesn't say whether the price includes VAT.

Bear in mind the opening hours: weekdays from 8 am to 3 pm, so it isn't an option for after-work evening sessions. The studio mainly suits local creators, associations and companies looking for a quiet place for a conversation without a big production. And once you've asked your last question, you can keep talking with your guests by the bar in the kitchenette.
