Amaro Records — Ateliér & Podcast

Amaro Records is the recording brand of the NGO IQ Roma servis and sits on Milady Horákové, close to Cejl. That changes nothing about how you deal with them or what you get — the rate card is public and the client list includes ordinary commercial firms and agencies. It is only fair to know that a non-profit stands behind the studio and that the premises were provided by the Brno-střed district.

The nicest part is that you choose a room, not a service. Either the recording studio, acoustically tuned and suited to clean sound, or the atelier with a cyclorama, where the background can be recoloured and a video podcast or talk show gains visual range. Three guests are the standard; up to eight microphones are available on request.

The rates are kind by Brno standards: 1,000 CZK an hour for audio with an engineer, 2,500 CZK for video with three cameras and a videomaker. Post-production is counted separately. You send the enquiry straight from the podcast page, filling in the date, time and estimated number of hours.
